Wildcats pound Tigers 16-1

Sports

Earlier Tuesday, I took in some boy’s lacrosse.

Up on the hill, Johnson City hosting Union-Endicott.

First quarter, 1-0 JC at this point.

Jake Carpenter behind goal finds Kaiden Flynn, and he skips one to the back of the net.

2-0 Wildcats.

Then, DJ Neer to Billy Kozloski to Carpenter.

Patient with it, couple fakes, and bounces it home.

3-0 JC.

This time, it was Kozloski’s turn to score.

He takes Carpenter’s pass and goes up top with it on the drive.

Now, inside the final 10 seconds of the quarter.

Cross field pass from Brandon Warren won’t connect.

But, Kozloski tracks it down and chucks it for Carpenter back door.

At the buzzer, Jake’s second of the quarter.

He’d finish with four goals and six assists, while Kozloski netted seven goals as the Wildcats beat U-E, 16-1.
