Section IV boy’s high school soccer rankings


On Monday afternoon, the first New York state boy’s soccer rankings were released.

Several Section IV teams found their way into the rankings so let’s take a look.

All these records are reflective of games through Saturday.

Beginning in Class Double-A, only Elmira representing Section IV as they sit at #6 with a 4-0-1 record.

In Class A, the defending state champs, Vestal, sit in the two spot with a 4-1 record.

Class B has two Section IV reps, with the 3-0 Oneonta Yellowjackets at seven and 2-0 Dryden at #14.

To Class C where the top spot is occupied by Lansing, jumping out to a 2-0 start.

Greene also in the rankings, sitting 10th at 2-1.

Lastly, in Class D, the third spot belongs to South Kortright who’s 3-0.

Rounding out the top 10 is Marathon with a similar 3-0 mark.
