Rumble Ponies blank SeaWolves 3-0

It was Binghamton Hogs Night at NYSEG Friday.

The entire warning track lined with motorcycles pregame.

Unlike last night, the team’s offensive motors weren’t running on Friday.

Both starting pitchers had solid outings.

Liarvis Breto went over four innings, giving up just two runs, and striking out 8.

A big moment for him came in the 4th when the Ponies had the bases loaded with no one out, and he battled back to retire the next three batters without allowing a run.

As for the Binghamton starter, Michael Gibbons was even more impressive.

He went six scoreless innings and allowed only six hits to match his six strikeouts.

As far as runs, they were few and far between, but they were all for Binghamton.

In the 3rd, Josh Allen with a rope up the middle.

In comes Joey Wong to score, and Kevin Taylor gets his hustle on to score as well.

2-0 Ponies.

Joey Terdoslavich added a solo shot in the 7th as the Rumble Ponies get the win, 3-0.

Binghamton and Erie continue their series through the weekend.
