LeSean McCoy may start the season breathing a bit easier.

Ian Rapoport from NFL.com reports that McCoy is unlikely to be charged in the home invasion at his residence in July.

“The Milford police department does not… have enough evidence to charge him,” Rapoport said.

Without any charges, it is also unlikely McCoy will face any NFL punishment because of the incident. Rapoport did say all this would be true “barring unforseen circumstances”.

McCoy’s ex girlfriend Delicia Cordon was assaulted during the invasion. She and some of her friends accused McCoy of arranging the attack.

McCoy is expected to start for the Bills at running back Sunday in the season opener against the Ravens.
