On a more positive note for the BDevs, the 2019 AHL All-Star rosters were announced and a couple Binghamton Devils have been invited to the festivities in Springfield.

Forward John Quenneville and goaltender Mackenzie Blackwood were both selected to the All-Star team.

In his 3rd season in the pros this marks Quenneville’s second All-Star selection.

He has notched 9 goals and 10 assists in 19 games in Binghamton.

For Blackwood this is his first nod, he’s averaging 2 point 69 goals against with a point 911 save percentage.

Queenville has played in 29 games up in the NHL over his 3 years while Blackwood made his debut with the New Jersey Devils this season.

Both players are currently up with the parent club so it is to be determined if they will be playing in the All-Star game yet.
