New B.U. head women’s basketball coach Bethann Shapiro Ord tossing out the first pitch.

Speaking of pitching, it wasn’t an issue Monday, at least for the Ponies.

It was a rough night for Portland pitching though.

Binghamton’s bats came to life in this one.

Joey Terdoslavich getting things going in the 2nd with a solo shot, and the rout was one.

Jhoan Urena was a beast in this one, going 4-for-5 and driving in three runs.

Levi Michael also had three RBIs while Terdoslavich smacked four hits.

Every Ponies player except Kevin Taylor had a hit, including Tim Tebow, who extended his hit streak to 12 games.

That ties a career high, matching the 12-game streak he had with St. Lucie last year.

Behind four home runs, Binghamton wins this slugfest, 16-2.

The Ponies and Sea Dogs continue their series Tuesday at NYSEG with a doubleheader.

First pitch for game one is at 5:35 pm.
