On Wednesday, the Eastern League celebrated the best of the best in it’s annual All-Star Classic, held this year at Trenton’s ARM & HAMMER Park.
The Binghamton Rumble Ponies sent five players to the game, including most notably, Tim Tebow.
Tebow’s story has been incredible if you think about it.
From homering on the first pitch of his first at bat in Binghamton, to overcoming a rough start and flourishing in the month of June, batting nearly .400 in the month of July so far, and being named to the Eastern League All-Star team.
With his celebrity status, tickets for the typically modestly-priced event have sky-rocketed since the news of his involvement.
Vivid Seats released an article on their site about just how big of a difference Tebow made.
According to the article, the price for a ticket as of June 28 started at $20.
The following day, when it was announced Tebow would be participating, the cheapest ticket price jumped nearly six times to $115.
