Senators defeat Rumble Ponies 6-5 with ninth inning walk-off

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies took on the Harrisburg Senators on Tuesday to begin a three-game series.

The Ponies took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd when Kevin Taylor scored on an error.

Harrisburg took a 2-1 lead in the 4th on a pair of RBI singles.

Peter Alonso tied things up in the 5th with an RBI on a single of his own.

Then an inning later, Binghamton broke this one open thanks to RBIs from Tim Tebow, Jhoan Urena, and Levi Michael.

However, the Sens got two back in their half of the 6th.

Then, Harrisburg completed the comeback in the 9th by scoring twice to take this one, 6-5.

The Ponies will look to bounce back when the series continues on Wednesday with first pitch set for 6:30 pm.
