After beating the SeaWolves Thursday, another postponement Friday set the team’s up for a doubleheader on what turned out to be a beautiful day Saturday.
However, due to wet ground conditions at NYSEG Stadium, Binghamton and Erie missed their twin bill Saturday, and then their game on Sunday was suspended after only a half-inning of action.
Those games with Erie are scheduled to be made up in late June and July.
As far as today goes, the Ponies and New Hampshire Fisher Cats will get a three-game series going, with first pitch coming in just a matter of moments.
The weather looks optimistic enough to get this series in before Binghamton hits the road for their next six games beginning on Thursday.
