In the 12 year history of the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, no champion has been able to win a second time at En-Joie.
World Golf Hall of Famer Bernhard Langer will be looking to do that this year.
Having won at En-Joie in 2014, Langer feels confident being back at a course where he’s had great success.
“I feel great, I like the golf course. It’s very traditional. It’s all in front of you. You just have to hit it really straight, that’s the key. There’s trees left and right, sometimes water and rough. So, you have to drive the ball straight to have any hope of attacking the pin or making birdies,” Langer says.
Langer is paired up with two fellow Dick’s Open champions in Jeff Maggert and Paul Goydos, set to tee off at 12:05 pm on 10.
