The LG&T Tennis Challenger wrapped up on Sunday.
The singles championship match featured the top seed, Jordan Thompson, taking on eight-seeded Jay Clarke.
After nearly a three-hour battle, Clarke would take the title in three sets, 4-6, 7-6, 6-4.
With the win, Clarke, who celebrated his 20th birthday on Friday, becomes the fourth British male to win the Binghamton-based tournament, including Andy Murray in 2005.
This also marked the first Challenger Tour win for Clarke. Having that under his belt, the win helped Clarke move up 50 spots in the world singles rankings, jumping up to #175 in the world.
Thompson was ranked 98th in the world before falling to Clarke on Sunday.
