We begin with the Class D title game.

The top seed, Whitney Point, taking on the two seed, Chenango Forks.

Right to late second half.

We’re tied at 11 until Alex Zemanick nets the go-ahead goal for Forks.

It’s 12-11.

But, Amy Stevens ties things up again with just over a minute to play in regulation.

So, with that, we went to overtime, and it only took 33 seconds to get a winner.

Tierra Reh gets the goal that lifts Forks to their fourth section title in the last 5 years.

The Blue Devils win the Class D section title 13-12 in an overtime thriller.

Afterwards, the OT hero talked about that moment.

“It didn’t look like it was going in. But, I knew we had to win and I wanted to pull out the win for my team. And my coach really wanted it bad. So, I knew what we had to do and I just went for it,” says Reh.

The Blue Devils will face the Section X champions in the state subregionals next Thursday at 7:00 pm right back at Dick Hoover Stadium.
