Black Knights top Indians 4-2

WINDSOR, N.Y. - With Monday being a holiday, schools were closed all across the Southern Tier, giving kids the day off.

And while most student-athletes also had the day off from their respective sports, there were still a small sample of games played.

Field hockey was the name of the game over in Windsor.

The Black Knights hosting the Owego Indians on Senior Night.

Seniors on both teams being honored.

Once we got underway, it was Windsor who would strike first.

Ball jumps up and finds Grace Beattie and she chips into the back of the cage.

1-0 Windsor.

But here come the Indians.

Beautiful passing, Jordan Greene finding Megan Holloway, and there's Jill Baumbach on the doorstep for the tip-in.

That deflection ties things up at a goal a piece.

Still in the first half, off a corner, Larissa Balachick starts the ball movement.

Eventually, Maddie Quick spins and scoops the ball into the goal.

The senior gets one on Senior Night.

Black Knights go up 2-1.

Windsor would carry that lead into halftime.

They'd go on to win the game by a final of 4-2.
