Binghamton University women’s lacrosse team prepares for season

Same coach and pretty much the same players.

Not much has changed for the Binghamton University Women’s lacrosse team over the off-season.

Head Coach Stephanie Allen returns for her 5th season, and most of the talent on the field has returned, as well.
But what has changed is the team’s energy and mentality.

“This year I think its a lot more individual effort. It’s great to see coming down from class and there’s already people on the field…they don’t have to be there. People are putting in extra work outside the practice time and conditioning. I think that’s the main difference, is people have really bought in to what the coaches are doing and to what we really want to accomplish as a time,” said Senior Midfielder Callon Williams.

The Bearcats open their season on Thursday at home at 4 against Lafayette.
