Americans defeat Devils 6-4

Local Sports

After picking up an overtime win on Friday, the Binghamton Devils looked to keep the momentum going Saturday as they hosted the Rochester Americans.

It looked like they would do just that as they scored three goals in the first period to lead 3-1 after one.

However, they would surrender the next three goals before tying the game at four midway through the third.

The Amerks peppered Bingo goalie Cam Johnson with 46 shots on goal.

Johnson made 41 saves but Rochester comes away with the 6-4 win.

The BDevs are down to just six game remaining in the season.

Next up, they take on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday.

Puck drop down in PA is at 7:05 pm.
