Knicks trade Kristaps Porzingis to Mavericks

Sports

Finally, the New York Knicks made a big splash in the NBA trade market today.

They agreed to send 23-year-old stud Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks.

Porzingis is still healing from surgery after he tore his ACL last season.

He was averaging nearly 23 points per game before the injury.

The trade also included Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr. from New York, in exchange for Wesley Matthews, Dennis Smith Jr., and DeAndre Jordan.

New York is currently 10-40, last in the NBA, and are front runners for the top pick in this year’s draft which would most likely be Duke’s Zion Williamson.
