The Binghamton Devils continued on with their lengthy road stretch.
After falling to Springfield on Friday, the Devils looked to bounce back Saturday in Providence against the Bruins.
Thanks to Nick Lappin’s 17th goal of the season, the BDevs got out to a 1-0 lead late in the first period.
However, the Bruins responded in the second, potting two goals in the middle frame to take a 2-1 lead.
They then iced the game in the third with another one as Providence beats Binghamton 3-1.
That’s now the BDevs 10th-straight loss, having gone winless since a 4-1 victory over Utica on February 23rd.
Binghamton will look to end that streak on Wednesday as they wrap up their six-game stretch away from home against the Laval Rocket.
Puck drop is set for 7:30 pm.
