Devils down Senators 3-1

Plenty of area teams were in action over the weekend.

We’ll start at the Floyd L. Mains Veterans Memorial Arena where the Devils took on their Division rival Belleville Senators.

After splitting the first two contests with the Senators, Binghamton took care of business at home 3-1.

Cam Johnson got the nod between the pipes and took advantage of the opportunity only allowing 1 puck to sneak by him on 18 shots.

Michael McLeod solidified the win with his empty net goal, adding to his assist earlier in the game to bring his season point total to 15.

Nathan Bastian and and John Ramage provided the other 2 goals.

The win moves the Devils out of the basement in the North vision up 2 spots to 6th.

Binghamton will take the ice against the 5th place Marlies in Toronto on Wednesday.
