BDevils fall to Marlies 5-1

Coming out of 2018 the Binghamton Devils find themselves in a tie for last place in the North Division.

The Devils looked to start 2019 on the right foot as the Marlies came to town for a divisional game.

Pick it up 1st period, Marlies showing some pressure right in front but Evan Cormier closes the door to keep it scoreless.

Later in the period Josh Jacobs controlling the puck he works it in front and Egor Sharangovich with the perfect tip past the tendy, that’s his 7th of the year Devils jump out to a 1 nothing advantage.

Trying to build the lead, the Nathan Bastian gets in great position but Kasmir Kaskisuo stays in great position the whole way to stifle him.

Things would spiral quickly for the Devils after the first period as the Marlies would go on to score 5 unanswered to down Binghamton 5-1.
