Area teams had the day off yesterday, but for many, it was right back to work today.

That includes the Binghamton Devils.

But, before we get in to what the team has in store today, let’s take a look back at what they did this past weekend.

Last Friday, the BDevs hosted the Providence Bruins.

Providence jumped out to a 2-0 lead, including scoring just 16 seconds into the game.

But, the Devils hung around, and eventually, took over.

Binghamton would outscore the Bruins 6-1 the rest of the way, including four unanswered goals.

Brandon Gignac would net a hat trick and added an assist.

Kevin Rooney scored his first goal of the year and also added a helper while Mike McLeod notched three assists.

Binghamton beats the Bruins 6-3.

That takes us into Saturday now.
