Woodstock 50: Exclusive details for vendors, travelers, residents

18 News has exclusive details regarding multiple Woodstock 50 production, performers, vendor, and security plans.

Local vendors interested in participating in Woodstock 50 can submit applications for the festival through the email vendors@woodstock50.com

There is no deadline set for vendors to apply through the production company Superfly Production, who will be using unique software to sort through the applications.

Superfly Productions will be handling stages, hotels, and transportation (among many things) for the Woodstock 50 festival.

CID Entertainment will create accommodations, packages, glamping and camping opportunities, and VIP experiences.

Watkins Glen International does have a contract with food vendor Americrown, but local vendors are welcome to apply.

Local hiring

Superfly will also be handling the hiring of anyone who wishes to work at Woodstock 50, and more than 1,100 staff are expected to be hired for various positions.

The Black Keys will no longer be performing at Woodstock 50, which would have been a launching pad for their relaunch. A new record was in the works and the group had been paid, but a scheduling conflict will not allow them to relaunch at Woodstock 50.

Fan experience

A water company has partnered with Woodstock 50 to provide water tankers that will supply water bottle refill stations and cooling centers.

More than two times the number of necessary Port-A-Pottys will be available during the festival.

There will be an updated Frequently Asked Questions page to inform attendees what they can and can not bring into Woodstock 50.

A general store will be available at the site and there will be culinary dining experiences for those with VIP access.

Cars and participants will be screened when entering the festival, and participants will be re-screened before entering a staging area.

People can bring their own camping gear, but it will be checked with metal detectors.

Charities and causes supported by the performing artists will be featured in a village labeled “Goodstock” where people can learn more about causes and volunteer.

An area will be available for kids labeled Kidstock. There is currently no age minimum to enter Woodstock 50, but the organizers cannot guarantee babysitting facilities at this time.

Woodstock 50 has been in contact with local airports and an unnamed airline sponsor will be working with the festival.

There will be an increase in rental cars available to those traveling into Watkins Glen.
