The return of Binghamton Restaurant Week is prompting one veteran participant to open for extra hours.
The Whole in the Wall Restaurant has been on the city’s Southside since 1980 and was a pioneer in offering locally-sourced all-natural food.
It’s offering a three course lunch for $12 and a three course dinner for $25.
You can even add a fourth course at dinner for $30.
Specialties include the popular mushroom soup, the enchilada ranchero and the pierogie lasagna.
Server Brooke Shadduck says don’t forget about a dessert favorite.
“We have a raspberry chocolate chip big tease brownie sundae which is one of my favorites. It’s with a raspberry puree on top, and we have an all-natural ice cream, whipped cream, cinnamon. It’s just blissful. People just come in some times just for that because they love it so very much,” she said.
The Whole in the Wall is opening for two extra days, Tuesday and Wednesday next week, due to Restaurant Week.
Its hours are 11 to 9.
