‘Visit Binghamton’ highlighting attractions that make our area special

Broome County’s tourism agency is writing another chapter on what makes our area special.

Visit Binghamton held a photo shoot at Traditions at the Glen to help in a rebranding effort.

The message of the new brand is to “Be Part of Our Story,” encouraging visitors to dive into the history and culture of Greater Binghamton.

The shoot at Traditions is a part of the rebrand that is focusing on unique establishments in the area with stories that are to be featured in a national advertising campaign.

Visit Binghamton Director Judi Hess says there are many great attractions in our area.

“We realized that our community is really vibrant and has changed so much over the last few years. We really wanted to get that word out to the public to get them to come and visit us and not think that it’s the old EJ of the past but that it’s the really cool hip community that it is,” said Hess.

Along with Traditions, Visit Binghamton is doing photo shoots at Apple Hills and 205 Dry to add to the six it did last year.
