News

JULY 21 – Today’s fact takes us back 56 years.

Today we’re headed back to 1965, when the City of Binghamton decides to replace their school crossing guards.

The previous guards were men, who were seemingly unable to show up for work.

Binghamton decides to ditch the men for women.

In 1965 these crossing guards were paid $8 a day.
