April 20 – While today may not be the best day in Binghamton history, it shows how far we’ve come.

In 1964, City Fathers vote down (3 to 10) a Human Rights Commission.

Councilman David Furrow asks for the specific complaints of racial discrimination and fellow councilmen simply laugh and pat him on the back.
