MAY 25 – Today in Binghamton History, we go back to 1939.

Today in 1939 a dairy farm in Conklin was purchased by Jewish refugees from Austria.

The plan was to use the farm as a safe location for their friends and families.

The farm was 525 acres and even had a milk route, which served 1,000 Binghamton customers.
