A downtown eatery that looks out on the river walk has rejoined Binghamton Restaurant Week.
The River Bistro inside the DoubleTree Hotel features upscale traditional American cuisine.
It’s offering a three course lunch for $15 and a three course dinner for $20.
Lunch offerings include a grapefruit arugula salad, bacon wrapped tater tots with sriracha aioli and a roast chicken and apple salad with grapes and brie.
Plus for dessert, a limoncello creme brule.
Dinner choices include a half rack of Carolina pork ribs with IPA slaw and shrimp and red snapper cakes with wasabi greens.
New Executive Chef Bill Wilkinson says Restaurant Week gives his staff the chance to show off what they have to offer.
“It gives myself and my other chefs here an opportunity to stretch our creative legs a little bit. We get to do some things that we normally wouldn’t do on our menu and showcase the creativity and the talent that I have in my kitchen,” he said.
The River Bistro will be offering its special dinner menu this weekend and lunch and dinner menus next Monday through Thursday.
