Street Eats delivers food to area residents

Binghamton (WIVT) – A former Binghamton University student has launched a business promising room service for everyone.

Street Eats is a new food delivery company serving Binghamton, Johnson City and the eastern portion of the Vestal Parkway.

Customers log on to its website and Facebook page and can order dinner from several local restaurants to be delivered to their home.

Eateries include Five Guys, Moe’s, Panera, Moghuls, Chatterbox and Champs.

The delivery fee is $4.95 with no minimum order.

Former business student Austin Tse said he took a year off from school to test his idea in the real world.

“I figured experiential knowledge is more valuable than book knowledge so I took it upon myself to take this year off and pursue my own entrepreneurial venture and learn from it. And as an added bonus, should it succeed, I’ll have financial success as well. And right now, it’s doing well,” said Tse.

Currently the delivery is limited to dinner from 5-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday but Tse plans to expand to offering lunches as the business grows.
