As for the parade itself, the festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with a mass at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church at Court and Fayette Streets.
The procession steps off from there at 1:30 p.m. and heads west down Court Street and over the bridge onto Main Street.
It ends just past Main and Walnut where a reviewing stand will be set up in front of American Legion Post 80 where I have the honor of serving as the parade’s emcee.
After that, the AOH parade committee holds its fundraiser at Seton Catholic Central featuring performances by all 5 pipe bands and the Mummers.
I want to thank the Ancient Order of Hibernians for asking me to be a part of this annual Binghamton tradition.
