On Wednesday evening, police were called to Otsiningo Park after a report of an armed robbery.

The 18-year-old victim, Zackary Pound of Port Dickinson claimed he was held at gunpoint and forced into a vehicle.

Following an investigation by law enforcement, it was determined that no robbery took place and no weapons were involved.

It turned out to be a marijuana deal gone wrong.

Pound allegedly owed a debt to a drug dealer for several ounces of marijuana.

Pound was taken into custody for making a false statement and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dickinson court.

The investigation is ongoing.
