Binghamton, NY – The Constance Foundation is hosting “Paint the Ice” on Friday, March 29th between 5-8 pm for those who would like to add a message of hope, love and remembrance, before Saturday’s Hockey 4 Hope Charity Ice Hockey Game.
A minimum of $5 is required as a donation per message – more if you would like, to the Constance Foundation.
On Saturday March 30th, the Constance Foundation hosts the Hockey 4 Hope 10th Anniversary Charity Ice Hockey Game at the SUNY Broome Ice Center, 907 Front Street, Binghamton, NY. Arena doors open at 6 pm, with the “puck drop” at 7 pm. Event admission is free for all.
Participating hockey players are each raising $1,000 in donations to help in the fight against cancer. Among the participants are cancer survivors, Craig Bland, Sean Gamsby, and Mark Laskoski, as well as former NHL player Chris Bala. Each year, team jerseys represent two specific cancer-cause colors. This year’s jerseys are to raise awareness for brain (grey) and ovarian (teal) cancers. In between periods, the Southern Tier Junior Devils 8U Travel and Select Teams will also take the ice to show their
Hockey 4 Hope is a local charity event managed by The Constance Foundation, a nonprofit based in Binghamton, NY.
