BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — A new place for entertainment at Otsiningo Park is on the way.
A permanent stage is being built along the western edge of the park using $125,000 in state funding secured by Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo. The new performance space will be used for concerts, theatre productions, ceremonies, and even weddings. Once completed, the stage will be 40 by 20 feet and have wood and stone finishes. It’s also expected to replace the current mobile stage being used for the county’s Broome Bands Together concert series on Tuesday evenings.
