ELMIRA, N.Y. (18 NEWS) Secret Service is executed a search warrant at an Elmira home on Walnut Street.
Law Enforcement are at 415 Walnut Street. The Elmira Police Department said a threat was made against someone. Elmira Police and State Police are on the scene assisting. Law enforcement have canines with them and have taken a computer, and several guns out of the house.
Elmira Police are questioning the man who lives at the home. When authorities came into contact with him, he had nine knives in his pockets.
Neighbors on the 400 block of Walnut Street were told to evacuate with no warning around 10 a.m. Elmira Code Enforcement posted a notice early this afternoon on the home that no one can stay there.
