Greater Binghamton Residents will once again be able to get a taste of the big city New Year’s Eve feel right in their hometown.
The 4th Annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop will be taking place on State Street once again.
For the first time the street will be completely open up to the public free of charge.
The ball will drop at midnight followed by a fireworks show.
Social on State Co-Owner Mark Yonaty says now it’s an event that people of all ages will be able to come out have fun at while ringing in the New Year. “It really does give you the feel of a bigger city. And Everything is so close, it’s a walk able downtown. There’s great events, there’s other bars to solicit in the area. This year it opens it up to more of family event.”
During the event Social on State will be serving dinner and there will be a VIP Party across the street at Atomic Tom’s.
A ticket to the party includes food, drinks and a chance at winning a 2019 dollar cash giveaway.
