The suspect in a murder and violent home invasion pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Bradford County court on Monday.

Michael Houseweart pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of Michelle Inch.

He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Inch was reported missing in late January and her body was found in March along the stream bank of Schrader Creek by a passerby.

The cause of death was determined to be blood loss by gunshot(s).

Inch’s parents were tied up in their Lycoming County home in January, which was set on fire while they were still inside.

Houseweart and his friend, Brian Vroman, were charged with attempted homicide after that incident.

Vroman is not facing any charges in the death of Inch.
