Meeting on Proposed Replacement of Bridge in Kirkwood

(KIRKWOOD, NY) The Broome County Department of Public Works will be holding a Public Information Meeting to discuss the proposed replacement of Colesville Road Bridge in the Town of Kirkwood.

The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Kirkwood Town Hall located at 70 Crescent Drive, Kirkwood, NY.

The Broome County Department of Public Works, in cooperation with the New York State Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration is developing design alternatives with the assistance of Barton & Loguidice, DPC for NYSDOT PIN 9754.12, Colesville Road (CR 52) Bridge over Duell Creek Bridge Replacement. The project objectives are to address structural deficiencies and to increase the hydraulic capacity of the structure.

The purpose of this meeting is to obtain comments and answer questions about the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials and local agencies. The public information meeting is part of the continuing efforts by Broome County, NYSDOT and FHWA to encourage public input into the development of transportation projects.
