Worcester man arrested on charges of torturing and injuring animals

A Worcester man has been arrested on charges of torturing and injuring animals.

State Police at Oneonta were dispatched to 52 year-old Antonio Fiorino’s address after receiving complaints that he had poisoned his cats.

The complaint stated that both of his cats became very sick on April 9th and had to be euthanized.

An investigation revealed that the cats were poisoned with antifreeze which led to their death.     

Fiorino was arrested on April 18th and arraigned in Worcester Town Court where he posted $500 cash bail. 

His return court date is May 7th.
