BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Good new for Governor Andrew Cuomo as he seeks re-election this Fall.
According to a Siena College Poll released Wednesday, he has a wide lead over Republican challenger Marc Molinaro.
Cuomo leads the Dutchess County Executive 56 to 37 percent among likely general election voters.
The news is even better for the Governor against his Democratic rival Cynthia Nixon.
Cuomo has widened his lead over the former Sex and the City star to 61 to 26 percent among likely Democratic voters.
And the poll also showed New Yorkers favorability of Cuomo rising from 49 percent in April to 51 percent in June.
President Trump's favorability also rose from 31 to 38 percent over that period, although the majority of New Yorkers continue to disfavor him.
