Binghamton University Scholar Students unveiled the final product of a recent volunteer project.

PricewaterhouseCoopers or PWC Scholars are students in the School of Management’s honors program.

This week, renovated both indoor and outdoor areas of Kali’s Klubhouse in Apalachin including turning a former milking area into a classroom.

Kali’s Klubhouse is a non-profit that provides equine or horse-assisted therapy for children with disabilities, at-risk youth, veterans and elderly people.

President of the Board of Directors for Kali’s Kubhouse TJ Ligouri says the help from the students has been incredible. “We feel so grateful we feel so blessed and so lucky. It’s going to help Kali’s Klubhouse become more sustainable. We’ll be here for a lot longer than maybe we would have been if we didn’t have their help.”

An informational guide about vocational school and college options for students in the organization’s programs was also made by the PwC Scholars.

The students held fundraisers throughout the year to raise the $16,000 used for the improvements.
