Police are in search of a man who robbed an M&T Bank

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Police are in search of a man who robbed an M and T Bank in Binghamton.

At around 11:30 am, Binghamton Police responded to a call of a bank robbery at the M and T Bank branch located on Robinson Street.

The suspect jumped the teller counter and verbally demanded cash.

As the bank workers backed away, the suspect reached into the teller's cash drawer and stuffed money into his pockets.

He then exited about 30 seconds after first entering, never displaying or threatening a weapon.

Soon after fleeing, he left in a vehicle that was possibly a late model Toyota Camry or Corolla, 4  door sedan that is navy blue or dark colored. 

The suspect is male and is described as medium build approximately 6 feet tall.

He was wearing a hooded woodland camouflage jacket with a blue plaid flannel under the jacket, dark colored jeans, black gloves, brown hiking boots, and a dark scarf covering his face.

Ethnicity and age are unknown.
