Local business leaders hit the links to support Binghamton Chamber

Local News

Business leaders across the area hit the links recently to help support the Greater Binghamton Chamber.

The 22nd Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament took place at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott.

200 people took part in the tournament with proceeds benefiting the Chamber of Commerce.

President and CEO Jennifer Conway says it’s always doubled as a great fundraiser for them and as a great social event for participants. “Great thing about a golf tournament is it not only raises money but its a fantastic time for networking. So we got businesses who bring clients with them or they create relationships on the golf course. Golf has always been known as the sport where you can get a business deal done. So here this is kind of what the Chamber does, we connect businesses to each other so that’s happening right here.”

Conway says they alternate courses every year between other Chamber members including the Conklin Players Club and the Links at Hiawatha.
