JKS Home Improvement holds ribbon cutting at new showroom

ENDWELL, N.Y. - A 20 year-old construction company has moved to a new location that gives its customers a better look at their options.

JKS Home Improvement held a ribbon cutting on Friday to celebrate moving to the intersection of East Main and North Streets in Endwell.

The new headquarters features a showroom displaying various options for roofing, siding and kitchen remodels.

Third generation contractor Jeremy Sager founded JKS in 1998.

He began with four guys and now has grown to employ 30 workers year-round with additional help in the busy Summer months.

"A lot of customers want to touch, feel and see all of the different varieties of home improvement.  So, we built it out so that it has a little bit of everything here.  We think that it can help our customers touch, feel and visualize what we do," said Sager.

Sager says JKS is the only local contractor to receive platinum certified status for roofing from Owens-Corning.

He says he's looking to open a second location in the Syracuse area.
