One of the biggest names in the history of golf will be making his way to Endicott this summer.
United Health Services announced today that Jack Nicklaus will be the Honorary Speaker at this year’s UHS Golf Expo at the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open.
The PGA’s all-time major championships winner will be making his first visit to En-Joie Golf Course.
Nicklaus will take part in an event called “Stories with Jack” which will be emceed by SiriusXM Radio’s Dave Marr.
He will share stories from his career and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions.
Tournament Director John Karedes says this will take the Dick’s Open to the next level. “There was a little bit of me that last night was thinking about today’s announcement and it was a wow effect. He’s a super nice gentleman and to have him be a part of the event, especially associated with the hospital and everything that he and his wife do it’s just a great fit.”
The 7th annual UHS Expo will be held on Wednesday August 14th at 5 p.m. at En-Joie.
Guests are encouraged to wear yellow to support Nicklaus’ Play Yellow for Children’s Hospitals.
Admission to “Stories with Jack” is free but a $5 donation at the gate to benefit his foundation is suggested.
