Heavy storms ripped through Broome County Sunday night leading to damages throughout the region.
The Broome County Offices of Emergency Services has been monitoring the county wide power outages.
Numerous trees and power lines came down as a result of winds that estimated to be between 60 and 80 miles per hour.
The municipalities with the most reported damage include Conklin, the Town of Binghamton and Harpursville.
Fire station 1 in Conklin suffered structural damages while the Nirchi’s across the street had its sign blown down.
The offices of emergency services is reminding residents to use caution around downed power lines.
Do not touch them or anyone in contact with the line.
