Greene Lions Park dedicated to one of its creators

A popular place for Summer activities in Greene has been dedicated to one of its creators.

The Greene Lions Club has renamed its park the Don Barry Memorial Park.

In the late 80’s, Barry was a key organizer in the purchase of the 40 acres and creation of the park which includes ball fields, pavilions and picnic space.

Barry passed away last December at the age of 80.
