Greek Peak Mountain Resort has been busy all Summer getting ready for when the snow flies again.
The resort's ownership has announced one and a half million dollars worth of improvements to the ski area in advance of this season.
That includes two additional trail groomers, 68 new snow guns, some tower guns lining the Odyssey trail and an upgrade to one of its midway water pumps.
Plus, Greek purchased triple chairs with foot rests to be used on Lift 5 on the East side of the mountain.
Greek Peak President Wes Kryger says the additional investment in snow making equipment should make it easier for the mountain to open for skiing on the day after Thanksgiving, a day they've taken to calling White Friday.
Director of Sales & Marketing Kaitlyn Head says, "With all of the deals downstairs, new skis, new boots, boards, deals on season passes. Then we have the brews, wines and distilleries here. It's just a really great Fall event to kind of kick off the season."
The cost for tomorrow's event is $15 and includes 15 tastings.
The Cigar and Whiskey Tent is an additional $15.
There will also be special discounts on season passes tomorrow.
The ski swap runs tomorrow from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am to noon.
