Governor Cuomo enters a re-election year in 2018 with his highest favorability rating in years, according to a recent poll.

The Siena College Research Institute released a survey today showing that 62% of those asked had a favorable opinion of the two-term governor.

30% viewed him unfavorably while 8% didn’t know or have an opinion.

That’s up 10 points from November when the numbers were 52-43 and 5.

Meanwhile, New Yorkers continue to have a dim view of President Trump.

His favorability rating was 32%, while 63% have an unfavorable opinion and 4% don’t know.

That’s a slight rise over November’s numbers.
