Binghamton man arrested for stabbing girlfriend and baby

A Binghamton man has been arrested for stabbing his girlfriend and infant child.

Binghamton Police charged 31-year-old Colyn Williams with attempted murder and assault.

Police say that at 2:00 AM yesterday, Williams got into a domestic dispute with the 22-year-old mother of his son at an apartment on Gaylord Street.

He allegedly used a 6 inch kitchen knife to attack the woman while she was holding the baby.

Both victims were stabbed multiple times, receiving serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Williams, who fled the scene, was tracked down at another Eastside location and arrested.
