A Long Island woman has been arrested for stealing pills from a local animal hospital that she worked at.

35 year-old Christina Crabb of Smithtown has been charged with falsifying business records.

New York State troopers received a complaint on January 19th that several tramadol pills, which is an opiate pain killer, were missing at the SPEAK Animal Hospital in the Town of Maine.

An investigation revealed Crabb ordered an abnormally large number of the pills and then altered inventory records to conceal the theft.
