UPDATE: An arrest has been made after a 12-year-old girl was killed in a hit and run accident.
State Police in Mansfield, Pennsylvania have confirmed to our Elmira sister station, WETM-TV, that the alleged driver of the vehicle is arrested and charged with homicide by vehicle and tampering with evidence.
They report that 24-year-old Devon Greeley of Wellsboro is in the Tioga County prison.

Local authorities are actively looking for the driver of a vehicle they said fled the scene after hitting a 12 year-old Northern Tier girl on her bicycle.
Pennsylvania State Police in Mansfield confirmed to our Elmira sister station, WETM-TV, early Wednesday morning that the young girl has since died.
The crash happened just after 7:00 pm Tuesday night along State Route 287 in Morris Township, Tioga County.
The vehicle was white in color and described as a hatchback style, according to State Police.
It has front end damage and is missing the passenger side view mirror.
The vehicle is possibly a Chevrolet Traverse and was last seen traveling south on State Route 287 and possibly turned onto Rattler Road.
